Who We Are
At Mike Erchen Podiatry we offer a wide range of foot-related treatments from basic skin and nail care, ingrown nail surgery, to chronic conditions like diabetic footcare and arthritis.
The primary focus is on managing foot health, particularly in relation to injuries, with a team-based approach involving other healthcare professionals.
Treatment options include painless removal of corns and calluses, minor nail surgery, cryotherapy for warts, and custom orthotics for biomechanical issues.
Collaborative care with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other specialists enhances patient recovery and quality of life.
Mike Erchen
Mike qualified as a podiatrist in Johannesburg in 1985. He worked in Public Health and the Private sector before moving to Cape Town in 1991.
For 33 years, Mike’s commitment to his patients is unique and outstanding. He is passionate about being a Podiatrist, with a huge heart and determination to help his patients have a better quality of life by providing exceptional foot care and advice.
Mike treats a large variety of podiatry patients from general footcare, running injuries, Diabetes related foot conditions, corns & callouses, warts, nail fungal infections and gait analysis. He provides professionally made customised orthotics and innersoles based on his professional assessment of his patients.
